For over 15 years, I have led diverse teams, in complex, high-stakes global projects.

I learnt that the only way to deliver predictable business outcomes was through personal, team, and strategic leadership excellence. I also learnt that for these predictable business outcomes to last over a long period of time, I needed to lead with discipline and consistency.
As someone who likes to simplify complex issues into basic rules, particularly basic rules that make the most impact, I started trying and documenting what worked and what didn’t.
This process took years, and culminated in me developing what I refer to today as Disciplined Leadership Excellence (DLX).
I then translated this into a leadership development course, a course that many people throughout the world, including you can study to help them become the best leaders they can be.
Here is a quick summary of what you will cover:
A few questions that you could find useful as you navigate the course.
In fact, you can always keep coming back to these questions every now and then, as they will likely enrich the experience.
-
- Which category do you struggle the most with?
- In the category you struggle the most with, which “signpost” do you struggle the most with?
- In the signpost you struggle the most with, which “high impact rule” speaks to that which you want to do or see happen?
- What “tomorrow challenge” aligns with my rule?
- What is the reflection I should ask for my “tomorrow challenge”?
If you keep these questions in mind as you go through each category and signposts, you will note or highlight the areas you will need to invest more time and effort in your leadership daily practice. This is a good way to start with the weakest link of your “leadership chain”.
In other words, keep those questions close by as you go through the course.
I am excited that you have chosen to embark on a “signposted pathway” to leadership excellence. Just follow the signposts…
All the best,
Phillip
